I wanted to explore more of the fall colors around Toronto before the snow started falling in. It’s like holding onto the colors till their last moment.
Some of my friends were also interested in hiking this time.
So after exploring options, we went to Crothers Woods trail, located inside Toronto.
With the Don river on the Leaside, this wonderful 52-hectare land has approximately 9–10 kilometers of trail. We went onto the ‘3 Rocks, Sun Valley, Pottery Road, and Crothers Woods track, roughly a 3.9 km trail. It has low elevations, so you will not be out of breath on most occasions. Plus, as it is a dog-friendly trail, it’s also popular with nearby residents.
We had a good time strolling. We talked about life, career, aspirations, nature, seasons, coaching — whatnot! We came across multiple four-legged ‘bundle of joy’ walking with their owners on that beautiful morning.
Before my friends came, I went there a bit early and explored the area for some snapshots. The following are a few of those captures.
The following is a YouTube Shorts video capturing the moving motions for you to explore.
