Ajax Waterfront Trail (or the Rotary Park trail) is nearby my current place, so it is easier for me to stroll around it whenever I get the chance. It's not stunning, or sometimes not even quiet because of the crowd. But because of the presence of lake Ontario, it is one of my favorite places to hike.
I had the chance to roam around the place a couple of weeks ago, so I experienced my first hike of this winter season. The stroll gave the first vibe of the winter chill, especially because of the lake Ontario breeze.
The trail is just 15 minutes' driving distance from my current place.
I went there in the morning when people were not even there. The reason was to explore the place as quietly as possible.
Although there was a little breeze, that was good enough to give a chill to the bones!
The sunrise was about to happen, and a bit of orange spread on the sky canvas around that time! Not that much, but good enough to bring color to the dampened morning sky!
It was quite a quiet morning. Only the splash of Lake Ontario brought the sound of nature into that hike! Not bad at all!
I compiled some captured footage into my YouTube vlog, which I'm sharing in the following:
