An Incredible Graffiti Walk-Around on the Colorful India Bazaar of Gerrard Street, Toronto
I had to kill time, and the graffities were there to save me
Last weekend, my mother-in-law and Nibedita (my partner) had to visit the Indian shops around the famous Gerrard Street market. The location is renowned for the Indian and Pakistani outlets, depicting the sub-continental culture, music, foods, and languages all around the street.
The weather was a bit chilly that day, but not that uncomfortable to walk around the streets! As there were colors around showcasing the vibe of the street, how could I ignore the call of capturing them!
And, my new phone camera also asked for it! Still, a lot to learn on Google Pixel 6 Pro, but initial takes looked promising!
So, when my mother-in-law and Nibedita went for their shopping spree, I rolled my sleeves (not literally), cleaned the dust from the camera lens, and snaped the stillness.
A flowery welcome and the vivid layers in the background! Lovely colors on the wall!
A mix of graffiti with lots of colorful elements; I can see an elephant head (God Ganesha!), too, with the background of ॐ!
Freedom, expression, or the bizarre feeling depicted on the right!
Vibrant and vivid, don’t you think!
