It takes a lot of courage, curiosity, and the ability to embrace the non-comfort. Even a shorter stroll is sometimes getting outside your comfort zone, not to mention the long-distance hikes.
One of my friends has completed the famous Appalachian Trail, and everyone who recognizes him knows that he indeed has a different mindset to embrace the challenge. It doesn’t mean that the others around him don’t have it, perhaps not yet, or perhaps embracing it differently in their own time.
One thing is for sure, he challenges himself to go for it, and see what happens next!
Isn’t that one of the key things that prospered humans in the past (and perhaps in the future as well)?
Salute to those wanderers, who listen to their soul’s spirit and embrace the wilderness!
