Snapshots of Long Sault Conservation Area Between the Fall & Winter Time
Another hiking adventure on the weekend
As part of my weekend hiking exploration, I went to the Long Sault Conservation area near Clarington, Ontario, Canada, four weeks ago. It was a beautiful place to explore diverse sides of the woods, including creek-side, dunes, and green friends.
Although the best time to hike is during summer (and fall), winter can bring a different perspective.
I could capture a few photographs of the fall and winter transition time. Here it goes:
Here are a few observations on this hiking trail:
✓ Some portions of the entire trail were closed, so I couldn’t finish the entire length (I could only cover 10.5 km out of the 14.6 km)
✓ Low elevation
✓ The route is bicycle friendly during summer and fall but might not be bicycle accessible during winter
✓ Other activities you can do is snowshoeing,
✓ Dog friendly, and dogs must be on a leash.
Overall, I loved walking on the trail, and capturing some glimpses of nature felt great. Such gorgeousness nature offers even in transitions!
